Creating sustainable, liveable and socially responsible cities increasingly requires holistic and interdisciplinary ways of working. In this course, students will work on a new generation of innovative solutions to urban issues while simultaneously testing new working methods. In interdisciplinary groups, students and young professionals will explore models of cooperative planning. The groups will work on case studies that are Amsterdam-based and topical with a coalition of diverse actors in the city, including citizens, companies and local government acting as clients and conversation partners.
