General information
The Summer School of Slavonic Studies provides a snapshot of the current situation in Czech and Slavic studies with particular focus on the Czech language and Czech history, literary theory and literary history. Its practical language courses, optional seminars, workshops and lectures are led teaching staff of Charles University and researchers from the Czech Academy of Sciences.
An integral part of the School is also its cultural and social programme organised for students of all language levels. The cultural programme is offered on afternoons and evenings or weekends, participation is voluntary
