General information

Learning Italian and getting to know Italian culture is one of the most rewarding features of coming to Sapienza. It’s why we have created the Sapienza Summer School, where students from all over the world can study and discover the many aspects of Italian literature, art, cinema, etc., and perfect their language skills. Courses are taught by enthusiastic instructors who provide students with unique insights into the many layers of Italy.

Sapienza Summer School consists of two independent and parallel courses, taught in English and Italian,
both with a final assessment test, and both include guided visits to the most important artistic and monumental sites of the city.

Accommodation

Sapienza Summer School has a special agreement with the residence Casa dell'Aviatore, 10 minutes walking from the venue of the Summer School. Subsistence expenditures are not included in the tuition fees.

Registration

To enrol in the Summer School, candidates must fill in the application form for admission to the Summer School and email ii in PDF/scanned version to summerschoolsapienza@uniroma1.it no later than April 30, 2015

ECTS accreditation

A 75% of attendance is requested to receive the certificate of attendance and the accreditation of 4 ECTS.
