General information

«Miguel Servet» Collège des Hautes Études Éuropéennes is a Franco-Spanish research and higher education institution founded in 1993 under the auspices of the Universities Complutense de Madrid and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
This Collège conveys and supports international research projects led by its co-founders with the purpose of expanding European knowledge.
This International Seminar, which will be held at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon - Sorbonne for the first time, has the main objective of addressing the latter updates on European legal and political spheres as well as what they imply on European citizens and institutions.
Times are crucial to the history of the European Union due to the latest social and political changes which have been going on within the different countries and members of the Union. The sense of Europeanism could be in crisis which could call for an even more integrated Union. A profound reflection, from the legal as well as political point of view is therefore required.
Professors of the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and five Spanish universities (UCM, CEU-San Pablo, Carlos III, Universitat de València, Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona) who are specialists in Law and Political Sciences, will be involved in this international meeting with Students of diverse nationalities, to deal with up to date information on the matter. The privilege of having very different academic and research points of view will support an in-depth debate whose results may lead to new perspectives and projects between the universities and the participating students.
