This is an exciting opportunity to experience a Crime Scene Investigation from the identification and analysis of items found at the scene through to conducting tests in our world renowned forensic laboratories using our cutting edge instruments.  This module is brought to you by King’s Forensics, with international expert scientists and professionals including police forces who teach on our accredited programme.

It is aimed at undergraduate students who are interested in the science behind Crime Scene Investigation. We offer a unique learning experience that includes: a mock crime scene, the chance to experience a criminal court case at the Royal Courts of Justice, special access to forensic laboratories at the Natural History Museum and the Gordon Museum of Pathology.

You will actively take part in supervised practical sessions where you will carry out DNA profiling and analysis of crime scene items including confiscated street drugs (strictly security enforced).

This module will consist of a minimum of 45 contact hours with teaching taking place between 9 am and 5 pm from Monday to Friday
